Summary: Ronon couldn’t help but overhear the bickering coming from his teammates.

O in Ronon

Ronon strode down Atlantis’ majestic hallways to his final destination. Food. He was starved after giving a beating to a bunch of Marines.

Having made the turn into the commissary, Ronon stood in line and piled his tray full of a variety of different foods. Heading towards his usual table, Ronon couldn’t help but overhear the bickering coming from his teammates.

“I’m right.”

“Don’t think so.”

“I know I’m right McKay.”

“Yeah right, coming from the guy that didn’t get into MENSA.”

Taking a seat next to Sheppard, Ronon shot Teyla a questioning look as he took a bite of his meat.

“John and Rodney wish to enquire as to how to spell your given name,” Teyla answered.

“Yeah buddy. So what is it? A, I, or O?”

“Why?”

Rodney pondered, “Huh. I never thought of that, but I suppose that people have been spelling their children’s names with a ‘Y’ since the beginning of the 19th century, on Earth anyway…”

“McKay. Enough,” Bellowed Ronon, halting Rodney’s prattling, “I meant ‘Why,’ as in ‘Why do you care’?”

"Sheppard had some newbie spell his name wrong on a mission report,” Rodney declared, “They added some extra letters. Sheppard the Shepherd. It has a nice ring to it. But anyway, that’s how it came up, so?”

“O-N.”

“Ha. I knew it,” Sheppard smirked at McKay.

“Yeah. Yeah. Eat it up Sheppard.”

Ronon shook his head continuing to eat his meal. He had the strangest friends, but he loved them anyway.

“You sure it’s not with an ‘A’ caveman...”

I'm not really doing a large friends cut, but there have been some people that I have not heard from whether it be from their journal posts or comments to mine in a very long time. Also some of us our interests have changed since becoming friends. So some people were cut. If you didn't want to be cut leave me a comment and let me know. If you can see this post, then you are still on my flist.

Also when I first started livejournal I didn't plan on using it for friends only posts, but then started. Because of this, there are people who are watching my journal that I'm not sure if you're watching for me or my artwork because I never added anyone back as a friend. If you're here for my art, you can defriend me and watch kleahs my new graphic journal. I will not be posting anymore of my art in this journal. If you're wanting me to add you back, leave me a comment and tell me why we should be friends.

I spent today going through some of my icons on my computer to submit for a batch at pickmybest . If you've never heard of it, in each round you submit a batch of icons and people vote their 1st-5th place on your icons. You're kinda up against yourself. It's the story of my life. Growing up, I skipped through grades and graduated at fifteen. Got my Bachelor's Degree before I was even old enough to vote. I missed out on a lot of things – any kind of social event, you know, parties and dances. I don't ever remember a time in my life where I belonged.

Oh. I've been taking a few sparring lessons.

We're on a spaceship. Those doors are designed to be airtight. That means something as tiny as air can't even get through. How do you think you will?

This is embarrassing! Look at you! The greatest minds this world has to offer and, if I didn't know any better, I'd think there were a bunch of sixth graders in here. You guys need to suck it up and get along.

I just realized my one year anniversary of being on livejournal was two days ago. I originally created mine to house my fanfiction, which evolved into housing my icons and art. Through out all of this I've gotten to know some wonderful people. *hugs flist*

I'm posting this sort of as a way of archiving it for the future. If I had my way 'Enemy at the Gate' would have ended like this. Don't get me wrong I like Ronon/Amelia and McKeller is alright in small, small doses, but this is my #1 wish.
